The Leapmotor T03 is one of just two electric vehicles available under €20,000 in Europe, alongside the Dacia Spring. The B05 starts from €27,000, undercutting the Volkswagen ID.3's roughly €38,000 price tag. B10 SUV production kicks off in October at Stellantis' Zaragoza plant, followed by the B05. Local assembly dodges 10% + 20.7% import tariffs, ensuring competitive pricing despite higher European costs.

Leapmotor sold only 67,000 units overseas in 2025, but Europe is now its top priority. The brand ranks as the fourth-best-selling Chinese EV maker in the region, trailing MG, BYD, and Chery.

Key features include rear-wheel drive and multi-link rear suspension on the B05, while the B10 and C10 platforms offer both pure-electric and range-extender powertrains.

However, the T03 has faced criticism for subpar build quality amid rising competition from models like the Renault Twingo and Citroën ë-C3. Leapmotor plans to counter this later this year with the sub-€20,000 B03X crossover.
