# Lucid Confirms Strategy Chief Departure, Announces New Supply Chain Head

Lucid Motors has confirmed the departure of Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development Claudia Gast, shortly after EV first reported the news. The announcement came in the same release where the Saudi-backed automaker named Neil Marsons as its new Senior Vice President of Supply Chain.

Marsons, formerly Group Chief Procurement Officer at Rolls-Royce, is the latest executive hire as Lucid prepares to launch its most affordable model. "As we prepare Lucid for its next phase of growth and focus on optimizing resources on a path toward profitability, Neil's decades of leadership will help strengthen the reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of our supply chain," said Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff.

The company noted that Marsons has advised Lucid over the past six months. "In today's dynamic environment, supply chain excellence is critical to success, and in his short time at Lucid, Neil has already positively impacted our team, helping drive greater cost discipline and execution," Winterhoff added.

Gast, who oversaw supply chain duties within her strategy role, had been promoted to senior vice president less than a year ago, in March 2025. Her exit marks the 13th departure of a C-level or vice president executive in about two and a half years. She did not respond to EV's inquiries before the announcement.
