Lucid Motors Prolongs US Discounts on Air Sedan and Gravity SUV to Drive Q1 2025 Sales Growth
Lucid Motors has extended its $3,000 discount on in-stock Air sedans and Gravity SUVs through March 31, 2025—beyond the original March 22 end—to boost first-quarter sale…
Lucid Extends US Incentives for Air and Gravity Models Amid Quarter-End Sales Push Lucid Motors has extended a $3,000 discount on its Air sedan and Gravity SUV through the end of March, providing US buyers with additional time to save on in-stock vehicles during the first quarter of 2025. Originally scheduled to conclude on March 22, this promotion now aligns with the quarter's end to accelerate the clearance of existing inventory ahead of the transition to 2027 model-year versions. The discount is applicable to available units of both models and can be combined with other offers, significantly reducing the cost of these premium electric vehicles for immediate purchasers compared to those opting for custom orders.
Stacking Incentives for US Buyers This $3,000 inventory discount complements a range of other US promotions, enabling substantial savings on Air sedans and Gravity SUVs from current stock. For trade-ins, Lucid provides up to $7,000 on qualifying vehicles through month-end. owners of rival brands such as Tesla, Rivian, or Polestar can receive a $5,000 conquest bonus on top of the trade-in value, subject to eligibility. For the Gravity SUV, a $7,500 lease credit—revived earlier this month after expiring on February 12—brings combined lease incentives to as much as $12,500, a sharp increase from the $4,000 cap in late February. Financing options include 0% APR for up to 60 months on both Gravity trims. A distinct $2,000 Conquest Offer targets buyers trading in vehicles from luxury brands like Alfa Romeo, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Genesis, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, and select EV competitors including Tesla, Rivian, and Polestar. Air sedan buyers benefit from up to $12,500 in cash credits for Pure and Touring trims, or $15,000 for Grand Touring models on outright purchases. Lease deals feature 1.99% financing. By layering the $3,000 discount with trade-in rebates, conquest bonuses, and additional credits, US shoppers could achieve total savings exceeding $15,000 on eligible transactions. This makes in-stock Air models—starting at $70,900 before destination fees—and Gravity Touring variants at $79,900 (or $81,550 including fees) more accessible before the arrival of 2027 models.
Recent US Sales Growth and Availability Recent registration data indicates robust growth for Lucid in the US market, with sales doubling year-over-year in January and nearly doubling again in February. February's total of 1,500 units comprised 900 Air sedans and 600 Gravity SUVs. While Air deliveries saw modest gains from the prior year, Gravity registrations surged tenfold in its primary market, fueled by an accelerating production ramp-up. Customer deliveries of the Gravity began last year, following initial employee and family handovers at the close of 2024. Earlier this month, Lucid temporarily suspended its online configurator for custom orders of Air and Gravity models, redirecting customers toward in-stock or in-production vehicles. This adjustment facilitates quicker delivery for buyers seeking immediate availability, especially as Gravity SUV stock expands to meet surging early-2025 demand. Lucid anticipates releasing its first-quarter 2025 production and delivery figures in early April. For the full year, the company projects output of 25,000 to 27,000 vehicles, a notable rise from the 17,840 produced in 2024. This expansion, particularly in Gravity production, promises reduced wait times and enhanced inventory choices for US consumers.
