The Iran conflict's repercussions extend far beyond energy markets, disrupting supply chains for goods across the Middle East and inevitably rippling into the automotive industry. In the luxury segment, which flourishes in these regions, several brands have been forced to suspend deliveries. Ferrari, the Maranello-based automaker, has temporarily halted maritime shipments in the area while handling select deliveries by air. The company is closely monitoring the conflict's developments and any potential business effects. Although this poses a challenge amid Ferrari's lengthy waiting lists, the brand can redirect vehicles to other markets to sustain revenue without short-term losses. Not every manufacturer has such flexibility. Maserati, grappling with a 24.4% sales decline in 2025, has also paused deliveries to the Middle East due to logistical obstacles and safety concerns. The suspension will persist until conditions stabilize and secure transportation resumes. While exact regional sales figures remain undisclosed, 26.6% of Maserati's volume originates from other markets, including the Middle East. Bentley has similarly stopped maritime deliveries to the region. Its CEO, Frank-Steffen Walliser, emphasized that production volumes remain steady despite softening demand.
