Audi has announced significant updates for its 2026 Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron electric SUVs, marking the brand's first introduction of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) bidirectional charging through a 230 V outlet in the trunk. This innovative feature allows owners to power external devices directly from the vehicle's high-voltage battery, either via the trunk outlet or the charge port. Orders for these models will open in May, with initial deliveries slated for summer.
The refreshed lineup delivers a range boost of 12 km to 32 km, varying by version, thanks to a more efficient rear APP350 electric motor. This motor is offered in two power outputs: 150 kW (204 PS) with 350 Nm of torque, or a more potent 210 kW (286 PS) with 545 Nm. Improvements in power electronics and the transmission further enhance efficiency.
Battery options remain consistent at 63 kWh gross (59 kWh usable) or 82 kWh gross (77 kWh usable). Inside, the cabin has an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, and an optional 12-inch display for the front passenger. A raised center console includes optional dual 15-watt cooled wireless charging pads. Cargo capacity starts at 515 liters, expanding to 1,487 liters with seats folded.
Design changes are understated, featuring a body-colored front panel, redesigned front bumper, and updated lighting elements.
Current pricing for existing models begins at €49,700 for the Q4 e-tron and €50,400 for the Q4 Sportback e-tron.
