Xiaomi has confirmed the March 19 debut of its revised SU7 electric sedan in China, representing a major upgrade to the company's first production vehicle after two years of development. Priced between 229,900 and 309,900 yuan—roughly $33,320 to $44,910—the updated model seeks to bolster Xiaomi's position in China's competitive EV market.
## Powertrain and Charging Enhancements
The refreshed SU7 features significant electrical system upgrades. The Standard and Pro trims now use a 752V powertrain, an improvement over prior setups, while the top Max variant employs an advanced 897V architecture that approaches next-generation ultra-high-voltage technology. Xiaomi's internal testing shows the Max can add up to 670 km of range in just 15 minutes of charging. CLTC range figures are 720 km for the Standard, 902 km for the Pro, and 835 km for the Max. All variants include the V6S Plus electric motor as standard, with boosted power outputs across the lineup, though exact kilowatt ratings have not been revealed.
## Advanced Features and Design Tweaks
Every model includes the same assisted-driving hardware suite, powered by a 700 TOPS computing platform that supports Xiaomi's HAD software for greater autonomy. Premium trims add chassis enhancements like dual-chamber air suspension paired with CDC adaptive dampers to improve ride comfort and handling accuracy. Design changes are subtle, with updates to the center console and nine exterior color options available.
